Valencia Auto Spa – Car Wash Offers Quality, Care and Community
Quality, people, and community make Valencia Auto Spa Car Wash what it is today. Its website boasts of the greatest customers and employees, and world-class service. Customers and staff alike genuinely share that sentiment.
Office assistant Maria Petrovit has remained an employee since the car wash opened in 1996 because of the people. Similarly, customer Frank DeSantis keeps coming back after 18 years because of the kind staff, fair prices, and quality work. “It’s actually a pleasure to go there,” he explained.
Next to people, general manager Sandra Silvestre said the 100 percent hand-wash practice makes the business stand apart. Even in the drive-through area, there are no bristles that touch the car. All products are environmentally friendly and the water is recycled through an extensive refiltration process. Services range from an express wash to a thorough, detailed treatment. Valencia Auto Spa Car Wash considers itself the best Meguiar’s detail center. In fact, employees attend hands-on training classes for auto detailing.
Roberto Silvestre has worked at the car wash for eight years with a focus on quality control and workflow. He described improvements recently made, including maintenance of the car wash to ensure that there is very little downtime and an upgrade to the vacuum pressure so cleaning is even faster and easier. Last April, the fueling station began offering Shell gasoline. Inside the convenience store, customers can choose from a wonderful variety of food, beverages, snacks, greeting cards, and gifts.
“My job is to make sure customers always leave as happy as possible,” Silvestre asserted.
In the summertime, Valencia Auto Spa Car Wash bustles with car wash fundraisers for schools, churches, and other community groups that keep up to 80 percent of the profits. Since the establishment opened, Sandra Silvestre estimated they have helped generate more than $1,000,000. Around the holidays, the car wash has collected for Toys for Tots as well as for Girl Scout “boxes of blessings” for seniors. Girl Scouts are invited to set up booths to sell cookies and the Sheriff’s Department can wash its vehicles for free.
Sandra Silvestre and Petrovit have seen a wide variety of vehicles at the car wash, from magical Lamborghinis and innovative Ferraris to a lot of classics—even the car from The Dukes of Hazzard television series.
Silvestre recounted a very sweet story from years past. A man had purchased a special car for his wife and brought it in for detailing. The car left with a big bow on it. Silvestre wished she could have seen the look on the wife’s face when it was delivered.
Not only can you get your car hand-washed at Valencia Auto Spa Car Wash, you can refuel it, grab a snack and a unique gift, and feel awesome that you are supporting a local business that truly believes in community.
