The spirit of the season is here for the Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital’s 31st Annual Holiday Home Tour on Saturday, December 3.
For one day, peruse through four beautiful estates as they open their homes to the community to show their magnificent display of holiday décor.  This year’s theme, “Holiday Dreams”, produced by the hospital’s all-volunteer Holiday Home Tour League, will benefit the new neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) which is scheduled for completion in late December.

“We’re very excited this year to have four gorgeous homes each with its own distinct style,” said Barbara Sanguinetti, Home Tour League president. “We have two outside professional designers and two designers who are the owners of the homes featured on the tour.”
Embrace the warmth of the season in the heart of four Santa Clarita neighborhoods and tour the homes we have featured in this issue.  Presale tickets for the Tour is $25 each and the tour is open to guests ages 12 and over.  Guests are asked to wear flat shoes only.
For those who would like to view the homes during evening hours, complete with holiday lights and décor, get an exclusive look at the Home Tour Preview Gala, on Friday, December 2.  You can tour the homes from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. and enjoy a buffet dinner at TPC from 6:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. It is suggested that guests enjoy touring the homes prior to dinner to ensure ample time to see everything before the homes close for the evening.  Preview Gala tickets are $100 per person.
It’s the season of giving, so enjoy a little shopping for loved ones as the Home Tour Boutique will have many unique gifts from more than 40 vendors on Saturday, December 3 at the new venue, Hart Park, adjacent to William S. Hart Park at 24151 Newhall Avenue in Newhall. The boutique is free and open to the public from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
What should you expect this year?  “Collectible antique dolls and toys, a room dedicated to Winnie the Pooh, Department 56 village scenes, unique ornament collections and eye-popping lights,” states Barbara. “People want to see over the top and this year’s tour will surpass their expectations.”
