51st Annual Frontier Toyota Henry Mayo Golf Classic Tee Up For A Good Time
Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital’s signature fundraising event is in full swing, we look forward to seeing everyone on Saturday, May 11th! The 51st Annual Frontier Toyota Henry Mayo Golf Classic will be held at the beautiful Valencia Country Club Our Golf Classic benefits the Trauma and Emergency Services at Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital.
Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital’s Emergency Department is the “front door” of the hospital. It is open 24/7 and always ready to serve the community. Nearly 70,000 people came through the ED last year. As a Level II Trauma Center, our Emergency Department is approved for pediatrics and is a STEMI and Stroke Receiving Center. Our staff has advanced training to care for all patients.
And we need your support as we continue to serve our community! The dedicated team of doctors and nurss work tirelessly to protect and provide life-saving treatments to patients experiencing some of the most difficult health crises. Therefore, the funding received from the annual Golf Classic is critical to sustaining and enhancing these services.
Frontier Toyota, is returning as this year’s title sponsor, under owner, Aman Abraham. “Aman and the Frontier Toyota team believe in a strong community Hospital and Henry Mayo is grateful for their support of our Trauma and Emergency services,” said Marlee Lauffer, Foundation President. “Our trauma and emergency professionals—physicians, nurses, and all clinicians – are integral to the Emergency Department’s critical life-saving services benefiting our entire community.”
Back again this year, is the most exciting contest that takes place during the tournament, the Helicopter Ball Drop. Watch as the helicopter owned by Wayne & Connie Spears is flown over the greens in memory of Wayne Spears. The helicopter will drop 1,800 balls towards a target hole, where one lucky person can win a grand prize of $50,000. Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital Foundation would like to invite everyone (age 18 and older) to participate and support this year’s efforts by purchasing a ball. There will only be 1,800 golf balls sold at $20 per ball.
There are many sponsorship opportunities still available, especially for non-golfers. The various levels provide golf enthusiasts and non-golfers with ways to participate on and off the course. For more information, please call 661.200.1200 or visit wwww.henrymayogiving.com
