Dancing With Our Stars 2010

Nearly 600 people packed the ballroom at the Century Plaza Hyatt Regency on Saturday April 24, 2010. When the night was over Dancing With Our Stars raised just over $200,000 for our Santa Clarita Valley non-profits.
Winners of the night were: 1st Place Alex Hafizi and Riley Bennett dancing for The Senior Center. Money raised between 2nd and 3rd place was so close, it was necessary to award both with 2nd place trophies. Harold Petersen and Brittany Petersen dancing for Soroptimist of Greater SCV and Kim Goldman and Willy Arroyo dancing for the SCV Youth Project both took 2nd Place.  Jay Thomas and Ingrid Blanco dancing for Single Mothers Outreach took 3rd Place.  The celebrity and professional dancers were an inspiration to all that attended.  The event was emceed by local attorney Bill Lively.  Co-chairs were Anna Ott, Linda Hafizi and Candy Spahr.  The event was presented by The Magazine of Santa Clarita, élite Magazine and Bella Sport.
