We are pleased to feature the S-Club at West Ranch High School, a branch of the Soroptimist International of Greater Santa Clarita Valley. Learn about the girls of the S-Club, who continuously devote their time to helping others. We’ve also featured another talented superstar in the making with a voice you’d most likely recognize. Get to know 13-year-old Grace Rolek, actress and Santa Clarita resident. Grace has lent her voice for movies, television and animation and worked on dozens of shows on-screen. Grace lends her voice to the classic character of Lucy, in the brand new Peanuts special Happiness Is a Warm Blanket, Charlie Brown. Another voice that is soothing to the ears is that of musician Mandie Pinto. Mandie sings with beauty and strength, and her songs are the language of the heart. Read more about Mandie and her love for music. Last year, Captain Paul Becker was appointed Captain of the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Department. Take a moment to read about his journey into law enforcement and his plans for our youth. We took a trip down memory lane with artist Jeanne Wray. Jeanne, a longtime resident of Santa Clarita, tells us of life back then, her love for art, and the impact she has had in the life of others in our Looking Back feature.
