He was born and raised in Reseda, and she, a northern California girl. But somehow, Clay and Tiffany Friedman, were destined to meet, fall in love, marry and yes, become co-owners of the popular and trendy ‘N Style Salon.
The couple met through a client of Tiffany’s who happened to be a new neighbor to Clay.

Denise recommended Clay make an appointment at the local salon where Tiffany worked. So he did.
Was it love at first hair cut? A date for the two at Castaic Lake immediately followed. “We both loved the lake for different reasons…water sports, tans, motorcycle riding and more!” Tiffany later adds, “I wanted to learn how to do all the sports that Clay loved. Even after three hours of not getting up on a single water ski, Clay had patience to teach me.”
So call it love at first haircut, love at first ski or love at first motorcycle ride, regardless, Tiffany and Clay have been together ever since.
“I knew Tiff was the one,” states Clay. “I would first tell you its butterflies and fireworks, but I have to say it’s because she is the kindest person I have ever met. She’s genuine and has my heart completely.”
“I knew Clay was the one after he brought me roses from his backyard that he hand picked and wrapped foil around the bottom!” states Tiffany. “I knew I was going to spend my life with him forever…genuine, real love.”
Tiffany’s dream has always been to own her own salon. “When we met, it just happened and here we are,” states Clay. “We feel very lucky. Our team is our family in a lot of ways since we do spend most of our time at the salon.”
‘N Style Salon is a “Black Level Elite Salon”-a level of loyalty to branding and education by L’Oreal Professional. Located in Santa Clarita, the team at ‘N Style has won “Best Of” salon for the last two years. They also won in three categories in Modern Salon 200 Magazine for Best Practice, Best Managed and Technologies and Environmental Sustainability. “These are very important awards to us,” states Tiffany and Clay. “We feel our team cares and it shows in everything they do.”
Clay and Tiffany’s love for their career comes straight from the heart. “We do things from our heart, for the people in our community and our team at ‘N Style Salon. We absolutely love what we do.”
Their success is attributed to hard work and respect. “We work together in both our business and as a couple. We respect each other as a partner, friend and business person,” states Clay and Tiffany. “Let’s not forget, the couple who plays together, stays together, so we will see you at the lake or on the track!”
