They met at Arizona State University.  He was a senior and she was a freshman. Who would’ve imagined their partnership on the cheerleading team would eventually grow into a lifelong partnership of love and learning?  Well it did.
Santa Clarita residents Liz and Wally Caddow began dating in college, and after graduating ASU, Wally moved to Los Angeles.  Liz relocated to San Francisco, but ended up in Southern California shortly after to attend the University of Southern California to pursue her Masters degree and credentials.  After dating on and off for six years, Wally asked for Liz’s hand in marriage.  “We were out at the beach in Santa Monica,” states Wally.  “The whole weekend I was acting weird because I was trying to wait for the right moment to ask her, and I finally did.”  Liz said “yes” and the two wed on September 15, 1990 in Scottsdale, Arizona.
In the early 1990’s, Liz and Wally entertained the idea of creating a school together, and soon thereafter, their dream became a reality.  Trinity Classical Academy opened up in 2001, and has become one of the fastest growing classical schools in the nation. “We wanted to be able to represent the Santa Clarita Christian community and provide a strong educational foundation based on faith, not only for our own children, but for the multitude of children who live here,” states Liz.
Currently, Liz serves as the Head of School and Wally is Trinity’s Managing Director. They have three children: Ian (age 15), Hannah (age 11) and Lily (age 8), all of whom attend Trinity Classical Academy.
“Working together has become a way of life,” states Liz, “and we couldn’t do it with as much intensity if we weren’t working together.  This is our life, and we continue to work hard, even when it’s challenging.”
“Working at Trinity together has actually been nurturing for our marriage,” says Wally. “We get to look in the same direction toward our goals and move forward together.  My wife is one heck of a leader.  God has blessed Liz, and she uses the gifts He’s given her and works hard for the Kingdom.  When it boils down, Liz is the best person I’ve ever known.  She’s a great mom, a great wife and a great person.”
“Wally is one of the most loyal, faithful man I know. He is my best friend, and I know he’s going to love me until the end.”Working Together to Make 2
