Enchanted Forest Wedding – Arnold Bryant & Alexander Hafizi
What day did you get married?
August 22, 2020
Where did you get married?
Canyon Country, CA at Alex’s Parent’s House where they first met back in 2013.
How long have you been together?
Since 2013. So 8 years this August.
The Proposal
Alex proposed to Arnold in a very casual way. It was Christmas of 2018 and everyone had just finished opening presents. Alex looked over to Arnold and said “I have one more present for you”. Then he went to get the ring and said “open it” and when he opened it Alex said, “will you marry me” while they were sitting on the couch with all of Arnold’s family around. It was simple.
What is your favorite memory together?
We have had a lot of fun going on trips but our favorite one is when we went to San Francisco for the first time together. It will just be a memory we will never forget.
What do you both do for a living?
Alex is an Associate Publisher and Arnold is an Associate Editor. We also started a Real Estate company in 2019.
Who said “I love you first”?
Alex did.
What was it like getting married
during a pandemic?
The most stressful part of it was not being able to invite everyone we wanted to and having to communicate with everyone that we were just having a small intimate celebration.
What is your most favorite thing
about each other?
Alex – My favorite thing about Arnold is that he is willing to try anything and the fact that he always knows what to say when I need cheering up.
Arnold – Alex’s strong work ethic and his big heart.
What was the theme of your wedding?
It was an Enchanted Forrest Wedding.
Did you have a special officiant,
i.e a family member, best friend?
Yes our friend Nick Ventura
