The Santa Clarita Ballet Company, established in 1995, has become synonymous with excellence in dance education and performance, nurturing young talent and enriching the community’s cultural fabric.
At its core, the Company serves as a performing outlet for advanced students of the Santa Clarita Ballet Academy, offering them invaluable opportunities to collaborate with professional guest artists. Since 2004, the Company has graced the stage of the Santa Clarita Performing Arts Center at College of the Canyons, presenting up to eight performances annually, including the cherished holiday tradition of The Nutcracker.
The Academy, founded in 1992 by Corinne Glover, offers a comprehensive program based on the Royal Academy of Dance syllabus. It emphasizes not only technical proficiency but also the joy and expressive power of dance. From the Tiny Tot Ballet program to advanced levels, students are guided to develop discipline, grace, and a deep appreciation for the art form.
The Santa Clarita Ballet Company is more than just a stage for performance—it’s a foundation where dreams take shape, confidence is built, and young dancers blossom into poised artists.
