One of the reasons we started our podcast back in 2018 was to highlight just how incredible some of the things our local companies are doing. Most residents don’t realize that SCV is home to a broad range of companies across major industry sectors including Aerospace & Defense, Advanced Manufacturing, Biotech & Medical Devices, Digital Media & Entertainment, and Information Technology. Over the past year I’ve interviewed many of the leaders of these great companies on our podcast series, SCV Means Business.
DrinkPAK Leads the Way in Advanced Manufacturing

DrinkPAK is quickly becoming one of SCV’s largest employers.
Medical Innovation in Neuromodulation – Valencia Technologies
The Santa Clarita Valley has been home to cutting edge medical device and healthcare companies for decades, and we welcomed CEO and first employee Stacy Chambliss to discuss an exciting innovation made by local manufacturer and neuromodulation company, Valencia Technologies. Their Class lll medical device (E-coin) provides electrical modulation of certain nerves in the body using a permanent implant, roughly the size of a nickel. It’s potentially more efficacious than previous treatments like Botox, prescription drugs, and other procedures for sufferers of overactive bladder.
Over 40 patents on their technology are in place for future use treating chronic conditions like high cholesterol, PTSD, depression, lower back pain, and more.
