Linda Fleischmann has been a mortgage broker since January of 1999 when she started her own business after being laid off from a mortgage company. Sometimes, the best things happen out of the worst things and in her case, it was the beginning of finding a 25-year career which she loves.
Linda was in banking, starting as a part time teller and ultimately ended her banking career as a branch manager for Cal Fed Bank. After retail banking she went into the mortgage business, but was laid off 3 months after starting. She decided that being self-employed and in charge of her own destiny was the way to go and started Loan Connectors. After a successful run with Loan Connectors, Linda decided that having partners that didn’t share the same work ethic and vison was not for her, so she started Stress Free Mortgage in 2011 and has closed over 3,500 loans for over a billion dollars. As a mortgage broker, she’s been ranked in the top .50% of mortgage originators in the country.
After having to constantly dispel myths and untruths about the mortgage industry, as well as having a passion for teaching and wanting people to understand the mortgage process, she wrote a book called “How to Have a Stress Free Mortgage.” The book was written with the intention to share with existing and perspective clients what to do before starting the process of obtaining a loan for either purchasing or refinancing a home. With so many variables in the mortgage process, she felt the book could help people avoid the pitfalls of lending.
Linda has a passion and energy for helping and educating people through the mortgage & real estate process. Every loan and every borrower are unique, Linda problem solves and fully understands her clients’ needs, concerns, and fears. The mortgage process involves many different parties in a transaction, and she prides herself in full transparency and timely communication.
