Meet Robert Trick Logix Federal Credit Union Branch Manager at Bridgeport Marketplace
After more than a decade of banking experience, Branch Manager Robert Trick has found some magic at Logix Federal Credit Union.
“When I saw the opportunity posted for Logix a couple years ago, I was hoping to continue my career at an organization I had heard terrific things about,” Trick said. “During my time at Logix, I have had a chance to provide support to a few areas of the business and I’m pleased to be managing the credit union’s branch at Bridgeport Marketplace.”
From a young age, Trick had an interest in banking and finance, so he gravitated toward a role in financial services. “It’s very fulfilling to help a member with something life changing, like buying their first car or home,” he said.
The credit union’s culture has impressed Trick. “The opportunity to help members of my community thrive financially is satisfying,” he said. “Here, I feel as an employee of the organization, I can make a difference. It is particularly rewarding when you encounter a member facing hurdles, and then you can provide support to those members to help them overcome those challenges and reach their financial goals.”
As a Santa Clarita resident, he’s thrilled to be working in the community in which he has lived for more than 15 years. “It’s a privilege to have the opportunity to make a positive impact on my community every day. Managing your money can be daunting. To be able to help members save money, whether it be with a low interest rate on a loan, or a higher rate on a savings account, it’s a great feeling. Better yet, we’re serving generations of members. Some families have three generations of homeowners. That says a lot about our level of service.”
The Bridgeport location has a seasoned team of Financial Services Officers, and Trick mentioned he is looking forward to working with them.
“I’m excited to be managing the credit union’s only branch with interactive ATMs instead of a traditional teller line, allowing for members to transact independently, and private offices to discuss all of our members’ financial situations. Being centrally located in town and surrounded by many great neighborhoods is an added plus, allowing us to better serve our existing members and those that are soon to join,” he said.
Assistant Branch Manager Angela Sanchez has been living and working in Santa Clarita for years and is pleased that Trick will be leading the team. “Robert (Trick) has a fantastic reputation. The members enjoy working with him, as he’s always looking to provide them the support they deserve.”
Trick has been involved in the community for years; he was an honoree for JCI Santa Clarita’s 40 Under 40 in 2014. He also enjoys spending time with his wife, Brittany, and children Bradley and Scarlett, when he’s away from the office. “I also enjoy travelling the world with my family, and frequenting local restaurants. It’s a dream come true to live and work in Santa Clarita; and, I’m committed to helping members thrive. I look forward to helping them through virtual channels and in person.”
