Meet Stacey Edwards, Logix Federal Credit Union Branch Manager at Valencia Promenade
With 20 years of experience in banking, Branch Manager Stacey Edwards has enjoyed coaching Valencia residents seeking to live their healthiest financial lives.
Edwards joined the team at Logix Federal Credit Union’s Valencia Promenade branch in 2011, bringing with her a passion for combining financial know-how and exceptional service.
“The culture at Logix resonates deeply with me,” Edwards said. “We strive to deliver exceptional service, as we really care about our members. As a member myself, it’s nice to work for a company that truly wants to help their members thrive.”
Her work in the financial sector began as a teller. “I found I had a knack for the industry because I enjoyed helping people make their financial dreams come true,” she said.
Since that time, she has had many memorable experiences helping members do everything from purchasing their first home, buying a first car or simply helping them in servicing their account. “During one transaction, I discovered the member needed some organization to better manage their needs. I found just the right tool to do so, ordered it online and sent it to the member,” Edwards said. “Needless to say, the member was beyond happy and I earned a member for life.”
This level of thoughtfulness extends beyond members of the credit union. Looking for creative ways to introduce herself to residents, last fall Edwards packaged dozens of tiny succulents in seasonal pails and left them on doorsteps throughout a local neighborhood.
In addition to helping the credit union’s members thrive, Edwards finds joy in guiding Logix team of tellers and Financial Service Officers so they may advance within the organization.
“I’ve been lucky to spend my entire time with Logix managing the Valencia Promenade branch. I have great employees, many of whom I’ve helped in their growth and promotion,” Edwards said. “I really enjoy being able to mentor employees to reach their success.”
Branch Service Manager Mary Schendel-Ralles has worked alongside Edwards for four years and applauds her ability to go above and beyond when providing assistance to members and her staff. “Many members come to our Valencia Promenade branch due to the convenient location, but many more come because they know they can rely on Stacey (Edwards) to help with all of their banking needs. She sets the bar for our branch staff to provide superior service to our members.”
A Santa Clarita resident of more than 15 years, Edwards loves being able to live and work in her community. “We are such a diverse community and there is plenty of opportunity for everyone to be successful and to contribute. So many of our members are invested in making a difference – it’s fulfilling to be able to work with them. Watching their businesses succeed, careers grow, children graduating – we are fortunate to be a part of their life experiences and help along the way.”
