Remembering Terry Schwartz: A Legacy of Grace, Love, and Community
On September 11, 2025, the Santa Clarita community lost a true gem when Terry Schwartz passed away from heart complications, surrounded by her loving family. Terry’s life was one defined by grace, sophistication, and warmth—a combination that made her not only a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, but also a cherished friend and neighbor to many.
Terry shared a beautiful life with her husband, Richard Schwartz, and together they built a family grounded in love and support. She was the ever-present anchor for her children—Rick, Lesleen, and Craig—and the proud matriarch to a growing generation of grandchildren and great-grandchildren, including Kristina Esber, Sam Kukucka, Paige Schwartz, Claire Riley, Bennet and Patrick Riley, Lauren Hertan, Jada and Diriki Adams, and her newest source of joy, little Zoe Esber.
Those who knew Terry remember her quiet strength and elegant style, qualities that made her a magnetic presence. She had a gift for making everyone feel valued and special, whether it was through her encouraging words, her signature sense of humor, or her impeccable fashion advice. For years, she worked at Margo’s, where she didn’t just help people find the perfect outfit—she gave them confidence to step into the world feeling beautiful and empowered.
Terry’s circle of friends was another cornerstone of her life, and their bond brought her endless joy. Whether gathered for conversation, celebration, or simply a laugh, Terry’s warmth drew people close and made them feel like family.
Her passing leaves a deep void, but her legacy of kindness, generosity, and timeless elegance will live on through those who loved her. The family invites everyone to honor Terry’s memory by carrying forward the love and compassion she shared so freely.
Rest in peace, Terry—you will be forever missed and lovingly remembered.
