SANTA CLARITA’S OLYMPIANS Allyson Felix
Now known as the most decorated American track and field athlete in Olympic history, Allyson Felix has a lot to be proud of, including her impressive collection of Olympic medals and accolades. At just 35, Allyson is one of the most successful Olympic athletes of all time; with a total of 11 medals, she’s given Santa Clarita a lot to be proud of, too. Allyson’s hometown is none other than Santa Clarita, and her impressive list of athletic accomplishments is just the beginning. This year, she took home the gold in the women’s 4×400 meter relay event in Osaka and beat out a total of 79 other competitors from all around the world. Allyson’s Olympic achievements have landed her a spot in the history books, and she’s sure to turn heads for years to come.
