SANTA CLARITA’S OLYMPIANS Kyle Ensing
Once a Viking, always a Viking – that’s what high school pride is all about. Kyle Ensing graduated from Valencia High School in 2015, and since then, he and his volleyball career have come a long way. This year’s Tokyo Olympics marked Kyle’s first ever time participating in an Olympic event, and he made strides alongside his fellow men’s volleyball players. Standing at 6 foot 7, Kyle plays as an opposite striker, and he credits his brother, Eric, as being the reason he ventured into the world of volleyball. This year, as part of the men’s U.S.A volleyball team, Kyle ranked 10th overall, and he faced off against Argentina’s volleyball team in one of the preliminary rounds broadcasted around the world. At 24 years old, Kyle is well on his way to becoming a household name in men’s volleyball at both the national and international levels.
