Spotlight on Michelle Elliot
One of the most familiar faces at Logix Financial Services, is Financial Consultant Michelle Elliot, as she’s been with the organization for more than 30 years. Having started as a teller, she has spent her career providing superior service to Logix Federal Credit Union members.
“It was just after I graduated college when I started at the credit union; it was Lockheed then, and several members were in the aerospace industry. At the time, my mother-in-law worked for the company. She worked here 27 years,” Elliot said. “At the start of my tenure, I was fascinated by the members who I met. They worked with my grandfather when he worked for Lockheed Aircraft from 1941-1979. I was impressed with longevity and commitment members have to the credit union. It was my job to embrace that commitment and keep them on track to reach their financial goals, and it still is today.”
While Elliot has helped countless members, she said, “I’ve seen the organization change and our offerings have expanded. As a financial consultant, sharing the tools to strive for financial independence is something I value. I’m motivated by seeing my clients satisfied with investment decisions. I have the drive to work hard to provide professional service and appropriate products that fit each client’s needs.”
Elliot has an office in the Valencia Bouquet Canyon branch.
“I have been working in Santa Clarita Valley during the last 16 years,” she said. “It is a privilege to be involved in the early stages of retirement planning and seeing it through, creating income in retirement.”
Elliot has children who recently graduated from college, and understands the need to be organized about planning for life events, including retirement and prioritizing life goals.
“Home ownership, raising children and thinking about life after the workplace can be daunting, but when members sit down to discuss their hopes and dreams, we can help them navigate and prepare a plan. It provides a sense of relief – especially knowing that they can craft a roadmap with milestones for success,” she said.
Members refer others to Elliot for help.
“We’re fortunate to have Michelle (Elliot) on our staff, as her depth of experience contributes to positive conversations with members,” said Leticia Meza-Guerrero, VP of Brokerage and Insurance Sales. “She does an amazing job, understanding each member’s situation is different. Her sympathetic approach and understanding goes beyond the advising process.”
Elliot specializes in these areas, among others.
