Summer Nights, Live Music and Community: Concerts in the Park RETURNS
The days are longer, the evenings are warmer and summer in Santa Clarita is officially underway. That can only mean one thing: it’s time to gather your friends, pack your blankets and head to one of the City’s most beloved traditions, Concerts in the Park.
Returning for its 36th year, Concerts in the Park, presented by Logix Federal Credit Union, brings eight weeks of free, live music to Central Park (27150 Bouquet Canyon Road) every Saturday night from July 11 through August 29. Beginning at 7:00 p.m., Fields 7 and 8 transform into an open-air concert venue where residents can relax, unwind and enjoy a night filled with music and community spirit.
Whether you’re a longtime attendee or planning your first visit, Concerts in the Park offers an experience that feels both familiar and new each week. With food trucks on-site starting at 5:00 p.m., many guests arrive early to grab a bite to eat, or pack their own dinner and enjoy a picnic-style meal before the music begins. Lawn chairs and blankets fill the park as families, friends and neighbors settle in for an evening under the stars.
This year’s lineup features a diverse mix of tribute bands and musical styles that are sure to appeal to all ages. From the iconic hits of Selena performed by Dreaming of You, a Selena tribute band, to the upbeat sounds of ABBA with FABBA, each concert brings its own energy to the stage. Rock fans can look forward to Aerosmith’s greatest hits with RagDolls, while country lovers can enjoy Gold Rush Country playing top 40 country hits. The series also includes Soul, Motown and R&B favorites by Blue Breeze Band; a high-energy performance by Paramore! At the Disco, a Paramore and Panic! at the Disco tribute band; an unforgettable Elton John performance by Kenny Metcalf; and a finale night featuring The Police Experience, a Police tribute band.
Each week offers something different, creating a well-rounded concert series that celebrates the many genres and influences that bring people together through music. It’s not just about the performance, it’s about the shared experience of singing along, dancing in the grass and enjoying a summer evening with the community.
In addition to live music, Concerts in the Park highlights local nonprofit organizations throughout the series, giving attendees the opportunity to learn more about causes making a difference in Santa Clarita. Families can also take part in Pop Up and Play activities hosted by the City’s Youth Sports team, while Inclusion Services provides a Chill Zone, an adaptive space designed to support individuals with different sensory needs.
With something for everyone, Concerts in the Park continues to be a staple of summer in Santa Clarita. Whether you’re there for the music, the atmosphere or simply a relaxing night outdoors, it’s an event that brings the community together in a meaningful way.
