Take a Virtual Tour of the Santa Clarita Valley
Did you know the Santa Clarita Valley Economic Development Corporation (SCVEDC) has an interactive, online tool that provides themed virtual tours of the amazing features our community has to offer? Engage with different media, maps, and data, and really get to know the various aspects of the Santa Clarita Valley (SCV) that make it such a wonderful place to live, work, and play. This free user-friendly data tool will help further the efforts of the SCVEDC and attract new investment and talent, support local businesses, create jobs, and stimulate the local economy. Combined with our other resources and information, these planned tours will include materials on economic development, tourism, community and workforce information, festival, and event lineups, and more!
The SCV boasts a supportive local government and an extensive list of money-saving business incentives, a robust educational system, a fast-growing economy, and a prime location.
Surrounded by acres of protected open space, the SCV is consistently ranked as one of the healthiest cities in the US. Miles of hiking and biking trails make outdoor activities a breeze. Safe neighborhoods and great schools make the Santa Clarita Valley a great place for growing families. From those ready to purchase their first home to those seeking exclusive neighborhoods, our region has something for everyone. Companies and their teams love it here!
As part of our efforts to highlight our valley’s greatest features, the first tour details information about the various business parks and commercial/industrial developments in SCV. Unlike much of the neighboring metropolitan areas of greater Los Angeles, the Santa Clarita Valley still has plenty of room to grow. We have been expanding, building, and growing in population, housing, real estate, and more for years. Across the SCV there are approximately 7.1 million square feet of space in projects that are actively under construction. There are also 3.9 million square feet of space in projects that have been approved but have not broken ground. There is even 8.1 million square feet of space in projects that are awaiting approval alone.
Not to mention we boast an extremely diverse list of industry clusters. Many are attracted by our unique availability of industrial, residential, and commercial real estate. These reasons and so much more, are why Santa Clarita continues to be one of the most business-friendly and ambitious cities in the country. We are constantly growing and won’t be slowing down anytime soon. Grow your career, invest in your family, heighten your lifestyle, all right here in the Santa Clarita Valley. Visit https://tours.zoomprospector.com/SCVEDC to explore the 4 different tours we have and keep an eye out on our newsletter and social media for the release of new tours in the future!
