Ultimate Female HR Director Sandi Malmquist (Gothic Landscape)
Since 1984 Gothic Landscape has remained committed to their legacy and values while giving their commercial customers stellar service in commercial landscape. They combine artistry with years of experience to ensure the customer is provided with desired results. Still a family run operation, the Gothic team have created a family focused climate for their employees and customers. This month they celebrate the achievements of Sandi Malmquist, Vice President of Human Resources.
Sandi joined the Gothic extended family almost a decade ago and has been instrumental in her role as Vice President of Human Resources. As an HR professional for many years she utilizes her skills and experience, along with her team, to keep the HR department running efficiently. Her day to day duties include providing executive-level leadership and guidance to the organizations HR operations as well as responsible for setting, enforcing, and evaluating legally compliant human resources policies, procedures, and best practices, and identifying and implementing long-range strategic talent management goals.
As a Santa Clarita resident since 1988, Sandi wanted to join a company that was involved in her community. Gothic Landscape is just that company. Giving back is second nature and through their generosity we have been able to grow as the community of the future.
When Sandi is not in the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband traveling and dancing. She also loves visiting her daughter and being, “Ama” to her five beautiful grandchildren that recently relocated to the Midwest.
