Providence Holy Cross Medical Center was founded in 1961 by the Sisters of Holy Cross to provide healing and health care to the San Fernando, Santa Clarita and Simi Valleys. As a 254-bed, not-for-profit facility, Providence Holy Cross offers a full continuum of health services, from outpatient to inpatient to state-of-the-art Cancer Centers, a Heart Center, Orthopedics, Neurosciences and Rehabilitation Services and Women’s and Children’s Services. We also have one of the only round-the-clock trauma centers in the Santa Clarita Valley, and our highly specialized emergency services provide treatment to more than 1,500 trauma victims each year. 
With a commitment to meeting the needs of our growing communities, Providence Holy Cross is continuing to grow and build. The hospital is currently constructing a new 142-bed patient care wing scheduled to open late 2010. The addition will include a new Women’s Pavilion featuring labor and delivery suites; a 12-bed Neonatal Intensive Care Unit; expanded surgery suites and a GI lab for digestive disorders. The Providence Holy Cross Health Center in Santa Clarita which opened in 2005 also offers a state-of-the-art surgery center, imaging center, cancer center and laboratory as well as physician offices.
