Delicious food and gorgeous bras filled the Oaks Grille at Tournament Players Club on Sunday October 3 for the 7th Annual “Bras for a Cause – Ports O’ Call.” Raising the sum of $24,000 for charity, President-Elect Sandi Naba said, “I am very pleased with the amount raised, especially in today’s economy. I want to thank all of our sponsors and donors who have made this possible.” The afternoon was filled with laughter and wonderful company as women perused the room and bid on silent auction items. With so many wonderful auction items it was hard to know where to put your tickets. Guests were offered two-dozen tickets for the great price of $20 to spread over the various baskets donated. The Newhall room also featured to-die-for merchandise by Bling “N” Things, SoSaree/Blingity Bling, Kiki Bean & Bedhead Pajamas, Classy Bag Lady, Isidora Designs, Silpada Design, Jacqueline B, Chairty Clarity Jewelry, Shelley’s Fashions and Phoenix Trading. And with a steady flow of shoppers throughout the afternoon, guests certainly loved what was on display.
