Classy. Talented. Funny. Charming. Witty. The list goes on and on.
Their music takes you back in time, to a post World War II era where life was different, rock and roll music coalesced from Blues to R&B, and tunes were played on the jukebox.  Mix those classics with today’s hits and you have a brilliant musical experience unlike any other.   Four incredibly talented men, one group…The Company Men.
Formed in 2011, The Company Men have taken their music to a whole new level, blending music from the past with hits from today.  Donned in their tailor-made suits and silk ties, these gentlemen have given up their 9 to 5 jobs and office desks to pursue their dreams and win the hearts of their audiences…which is seemingly effortless as they won the heart of mine in just a matter of minutes.
Daniel Tatar, Shawn Perucca, Stuart Ambrose and Brian Purcell came together in the summer of 2011with their first live performance as The Company Men in January of 2012. “We all met doing a Frankie Valli tribute show in Vegas.…When we sang together, we knew something was different about our sound,” states Shawn. The four left their office jobs, taking their experience in the corporate world and bringing it to the world of performing arts.  “Not only do we harmonize, but we budget, we have creative control over our songs…everything from our look to our song selection.  We have an amazing creative team,” states Shawn.  “And as much as we wear the business hat well,” interjects Brian, “it comes down to the fact that all of us love music and it is such an integral part of our lives, the universal language that you end up feeling, being a part of the moment, and that’s what we recognize when we choose our music.”
There’s no shortage of talent, on and off the stage.  Each member of the group brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the table.  This is what they had to say about each other.
“Stuart is the one who looks at everything analytical, from the logistic side, but get him on the stage, and he brings that old school Smoke Gets in Your Eyes charm and class.”
“Pick whatever goal you want, whatever it is, and Brian charges full steam ahead.  He is a valuable asset to a group like ours, and we are where we are largely in part of his determination and drive.  From a performance aspect, he is a stellar soloist.”
“I will say that Shawn is the best showman I have ever met in my entire life.  He will live that moment on stage better than anyone I’ve ever seen, from choreography to vocals, and his ability to read an audience.  Having been a performer most of his life, Shawn brings a that knowledge to the studio, and he is the driving force behind our current sound.”
“It’s key in business to have someone you can trust.  Any task you give Daniel, you can rest assured he will get it done.  He can sing any part, and has the vocal range to do anything, which is very unique in a group.  Daniel is arguably the most charming, bringing back that old ‘Rat Pack’ feel, with his singing and comedic chops and timing.  It’s impeccable.”
The Company Men bring old Hollywood charm back on stage, performing hits from The Four Tops, Frankie Lymon and more, with music from Bruno Mars, Katy Perry and Maroon 5 to name a few.    They transcend time, bringing out the inner youth from older generations, creating a new sound for younger generations to enjoy.  “We want to bridge the gap, pick songs that evoke memories and capture an era…when you mash the old with the new, together it’s an exciting journey.”
