Russ Group’s Jazz Concert Series

Irrepressible laughter and soothing “Smooth Jazz” filled the air around the Valencia Country Club on September 6 as a result of the astounding talent that participated in the first annual “Santa Clarita Jazz Festival” as part of the Russ Group’s Jazz Concert Series. 

Celebrity host and comedian, Lewis Dix, kept guests laughing between acts, while recording artists Kim Waters, Jeff Lorber, Joyce Cooling, the Urban Jazz Coalition and others brought on the soul.  The Russ Jazz Group truly offered SCV a full day of the best jazz entertainment available.  The beautiful outdoor setting for the Festival was truly the final ingredient in making this Jazz concert unforgettable.
