This year the 5th Annual Soroptimist International of Greater Santa Clarita (SISGCV) Fashion Show & Boutique had record profit and attendance, with approximately $31,000 made at the March 22 event. Event Chair Sandi Naba proudly states, “This year’s event was a huge success thanks to all our sponsors, boutiques, vendors, supporters, and the 2015 Fashion Show Committee.” Emceed by Chris Schauble, casual and formal fashions, a Favorite Male Model contest and a showcase of the Val Verde Girls of the “Dream It, Be It” program modeled.
Back by popular demand, the Favorite Male Model contest reached new heights, making $8,000 on its own. After each $5 vote was cast, Bob Hudson, Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital’s senior vice president was crowned as the crowd favorite.
With more than 300 guests, Sandi Naba and SISCV “appreciate all the support demonstrated by our community” and can’t wait till next year’s event.
