Magnificent Mediterranean Décor

As you enter Greg and Jim’s delightful Robinson Ranch home, a soothing fountain, fireplace and comfortable patio furniture greets guests to the enclosed patio.  This 3600 square foot, one story, three-bedroom/three-bath home is a feast for the senses, radiating comfort and elegance.
After passing through the entry foyer – and the fragrant professional floral arrangement fit for a hotel lobby – guests will find an elegant living room on the left and formal dining room on the right.  Both rooms feature custom iron work, rich tapestry, designer furniture and magnificent light fixtures, including a table lamp by Fine Art.  All décor is carefully coordinated utilizing burgundy, tan and brown hues.
As you look around this home, the architecture is complemented by extensive use of crown molding and limestone flooring.  A wine cellar and a butler’s pantry adjoin the dining room, either serving as entryways to the “great room”, a combination of kitchen and family room.  Once again, the home’s distinct Mediterranean influence is felt.  A unique iron light fixture by Maitland-Smith presides over the family room where guests comfortably sit enjoying either a fireplace (there are three in the home) or the 60 inch plasma television that is housed within a beautiful custom built entertainment center.
The well-equipped stainless steel kitchen comfortably sits twelve in the circular eat-in dining area.  There is dark walnut cabinetry, a center kitchen island, granite countertops and rounded architectural features.  A crystal light fixture illuminates the breakfast nook as do eight square cut-out windows that bring in natural light to the area.
Décor and furniture in the master bedroom are equally soothing and rich with much attention paid to detail.  A large Maitland-Smith antique coromandel screen is placed behind the four poster bed.  The master suite also features a fireplace which incorporates custom cabinetry and that has built-in features including a pop-up coffee bar and refrigerator.  The spacious master bath is equipped with a Jacuzzi tub, double-headed showers, and extensive granite and limestone.
The master suite – as does the family room – opens to the back yard entertaining area which has a spa, patio, BBQ station and grand outdoor fireplace, once again echoing the Mediterranean style.  The yard is perfect for entertaining and is utilized quite frequently for that purpose.
The east wing of the house includes three other living areas which remain fairly separate and private from the rest of the home.  The two beautiful guest rooms include decorator touches such as an antique crystal chandelier, custom bedding and fine art work.  An office is also located off the entry patio where homeowner Greg Maas, real estate professional, works among the built-in cabinetry, desk and leather chairs.  Some of the furniture and accessories found in this beautiful home were purchased from local merchant Douglas Furniture.
