| It was indeed a Hot August Night as Mardi Gras came to the Santa Clarita Valley on Saturday, August 22, at the Mann Biomedical Park in Valencia. Guests indulged in the Louisiana experience with a delicious dinner and exciting auction to raise funds for the Senior Center’s Home-Delivered Meals program. The night sizzled as Mardi Gras fans danced under the stars to the tunes of the Dixieland band. There was a live DJ, as well as a mystical illusionist to entertain the crowds, along with a wine tasting from Vino 100. The benefit auction is an 18-year-old tradition supporting the Senior Center, bringing a hot meal each day to homebound local seniors. |
