You may recognize him from shows such as Charmed, Beverly Hills, 90210 and Unhappily Ever After.  He was also cast for roles on daytime soaps such as General Hospital, Days of Our Lives, Passions and Sunset Beach. He’s even graced the cover of several national and international health and fitness magazines. Now after much success in the entertainment world, actor Jonathan Aubé has made his way to the Santa Clarita Valley.
Jonathan started his acting debut in fourth grade, playing the role of Rumple Stiltzkin.  Having played the trumpet since age nine, he’s always had an interest in the arts.  “But it wasn’t until I did an internship with Walt Disney World, while I was at the University of Vermont,” states Jonathan, “ that I realized my love for the world of entertainment.”
At the age of 20, Jonathan became a cast member at Walt Disney World.  “Then it was just a matter of time, and a few key geographical moves to get me out to Los Angeles.” On his own, Jonathan made the move with little money.  After answering a “roommate wanted” ad, he moved into an inexpensive rundown apartment in Hollywood.  “I pinched pennies, ate microwave dinners, and hit the bricks, straight out of the ‘How to make it in Hollywood’ textbook,” said jokingly, as there is no known book to the outgoing actor.
Jonathan began working early on in commercials and print work.  This allowed him to continue pursuing acting, without having to get a nine to five job. After finding great agents and enrolling in the right acting classes, Jonathan continued to have success.
Jonathan has a long list of film credits including starring roles in features like the action packed, Triggerman, the gangster film, Fallen Angel, and the dark comedy Soft Toilet Seats.  He also played a role in the award winning murder suspense Ocean Park as well as Regent Entertainment’s 80’s film, Just Can’t Get Enough.  You may have recognized him in the romance comedy Venus on the Halfshell, where he played Hendrix O’Hara.  Jonathan just completed shooting the teen horror film, The Devil Within, playing the role of Mr. Quinn and the family adventure film, The Gold Retrievers, where he was cast as David.
One of Jonathan’s favorite experiences as an actor was working with NBC on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.  “I have been blessed to have been on the show 34 times, playing different characters in Jay’s sketch comedy bits.  I absolutely love Jay and everyone that works on the show. They really make you feel like part of the family. This same incredible team has moved on to create Jay’s new show that airs at 10 p.m.  Talk about a well-oiled machine of highly skilled professionals!”
Jonathan and his wife, Sandra make their home in Santa Clarita, and have established a Holistic Skin Care and Permanent Makeup business out here.  “We moved here because it is a wonderful and safe community to start a family.  I wanted to get away from the Los Angeles noise and congestion, but still live close enough to the TV/Film Studios and casting agencies.  Santa Clarita is an incredibly well planned master community.  I love the Town Center and concerts in the park.  I also love being close to such beautiful landscape, the canyons, Agua Dulce, and Vasquez Rocks. We are also grateful to all those who have made us feel welcome to the area.”
