A Dancing Success – Dancing With Our Stars

It was another successful fundraising event put on by The Magazine of Santa Clarita, élite Magazine and A~V~O Golfwear at the 3rd Annual Dancing With Our Stars event that took place on Saturday, April 2 at the beautiful Odyssey Restaurant in Granada Hills.  
Dora Zavala and professional dancer Erick Padilla took home the crown, raising the most money for the Soroptimist International of Greater SCV.  Shelley Hahn and professional dancer Willy Arroyo took home second for Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital, and taking home third was Robert Gandara and professional dancer Sandy D’Elia for the Santa Clarita Valley Senior Center.  Scott Klein was awarded the best male dance performance as he danced for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation with Ingrid Blanco and best female performance went to Dana Sachs, as she danced with Billy Parish for Carousel Ranch.  
It was a star-studded evening at the sold out event, all benefitting our local non-profit organizations.  Over $95,000 was raised, bringing our grand total to an astonishing $380,000 raised in the last three years!  Thank you to all who participated to make this night yet another success!
