It’s official, Ray Tippet is the new face at Circle of Hope. Ray will be taking the reigns as the Executive Director for the Circle of Hope, and after a four-month nationwide search, Ray was the Board of Directors’ top choice. “I am very excited to be a part of this wonderful organization,” states Ray. “The work that has been done is amazing. To be a part of an organization that gives back to people that are affected by breast cancer and helping with their medical bills, cobra payments, medications, second opinions, is a great feeling. We can create a positive impact in their lives during some pretty difficult times. I am extremely blessed to have the opportunity to lead.” Ray and his wife Janey have lived in Valencia for the past 17 years. They have three children, Jason, Brittany and Ashleigh. In 2008, Janey was diagnosed with breast cancer. Having dealt with the many challenges that come with cancer and the effect it has on the family, Ray understands firsthand the importance of the support organizations. “Having a strong support system is essential to the recovery of a loved one and can make all the difference in the world,” states Ray. Ray’s experience is paramount, and with 24 years of managing non-profit organizations at the regional and national level, having created many local and national programs throughout his career, Ray is the best man for the job. “The Circle of Hope is the best kept secret in town. But that is all changing,” states Ray. “I have worked with the board in developing goals and objectives that will expand the scope of this organization in the months and years to come. Board expansion and the development of a strong committee structure is what will play a large role in getting us to the next level. Looking for the right people in the community with the right skill sets are the key to our growth.” With Ray on board, the organization will continue to grow. “I am looking forward to the opportunity to lead Circle of Hope to the next level. I am very much an idea guy and we can take this organization to places people have never imagined.” For more information, visit www.circleofhopeinc.org.
