Their Story
Bride: Taylor Weber, psychology student
Groom: Daniel Grodman, firefighter
How They Met: set up on a blind date – and it worked for Daniel’s parents, too!
Wedding Style: The Grodmans took a twist on the typical rustic look by switching out pastels for bright spring corals and reds, in celebration of the season.
Grodman Flair: To best represent their respective bridal parties, Daniel and Taylor had men and women on both sides, which were distinguished by red and coral, respectively.
Their Vision
“We wanted our day to be a celebration of our love for each other, with an intimate gathering of 80 of our friends and family.”

The Grodman’s share their planning tips.
Inspiration: “Pinterest was my best friend throughout all of the planning process,” Taylor said. “It helped me choose elements from each style and blend the pieces I like together. I also kept an album on my phone, so I could screenshot everything I liked and collect it in one place.”
Location: “I lived in Santa Clarita, but we recently moved to Colorado. We got married at the Briarhurst Manor – the home of the town’s founder and doctor,” Daniel said. “There was a lot of history behind it, and we wanted to bring in both those vintage elements, with certain modern influences,” Taylor added.
Tradition: “I grew up Jewish, but my wife isn’t. She was very open and supportive of bringing Jewish undertones to the ceremony,” Daniel said. “We had a Rabbi, brought in a chuppah, and did a catuba signing, which is like a marriage contract.”
Mindset: “Leading up to it, I was so stressed and wanted everything to go perfectly. But at the end of the day, you just relax and enjoy the moment,” Taylor said. “You’re there for each other, and that would be my advice for other couples: just to remember why you’re there.”
