Saturday, August 2 – Concerts in the Park: Hotel California “A Salute to the Eagles” • 7 p.m.

August 3, 9, 10- Shakespeare in the Park Series-Cymbeline 7:30 p.m.
Santa Clarita Shakespeare Festival presents one of Shakespeare’s most wonderful and rarely produced plays, Cymbeline at the Rivendale site at Towsley Canyon Park.  The event is free to the public.

Tuesday, August 5 – Stephanie’s Hope: Black and White Casino Night
This event is sure to be a wonderful evening full of fun and hope. Robinson Ranch is serving a delicious Mexican dinner buffet to all guests, a cash bar will be available throughout the evening as well as casino gaming complete with professional dealers. Tuesday, August 5 – Endless Summer Bunco Bash • 6 p.m.
Presented By Child & Family Center’s Women’s Auxiliary, the event will feature Bunco, food, prizes, raffles, wine and snacks and all proceeds will benefit the Child & Family Center.  Reservations are $30. Space is limited and this event does sell out. Thursday, August 7 – 3rd Annual SCV Leadership Awards • 5:30 p.m.

Thursday, August 7 – Art Slam! A monthly happening in Newhall • 7 p.m. – 11 p.m.

Saturday, August 9 – Concerts in the Park: Captain Cardiac and the Coronaries • 7 p.m.
Captain Cardiac and the Coronaries have been one of this country’s premier rock and roll party shows since 1972. Sunday, August 10 – Second Sundays Food Truck • 4 p.m. – 7 p.m.
Second Sundays is a monthly free event bringing gourmet food trucks and fun to the community here in Santa Clarita.  Second Sundays is held in the spacious and beautiful Gateway Promenade on The Old Road where Interstate 5 and the 126 come together.  Proceeds benefit West Ranch Wildcat Football. Thursday, August 14 – JAM Sessions • 6 p.m. – 9 p.m.
Thursdays@Newhall is launching a new free event in Old Town Newhall on the second Thursday of the month, called JAM Sessions. This free event features musical movements by various performing arts groups in partnership with the Ford Theatre Foundation, the James Irvine Foundation, and the City of Santa Clarita.  To learn more about J.A.M. Saturday, August 16 – Circle of Hope Presents: The 12th Annual Vine 2 Wine Classic • 6 p.m.
The Vine 2 Wine Classic returns to the original Wine Classic venue: California Institute of the Arts in Santa Clarita. The event benefits local non-profit, Circle of Hope, in serving the needs of women in our community with breast cancer.  For more informationm please call 661-254-5218.

Saturday, August 16 – Concerts in the Park: Poncho Sanchez • 7 p.m.

Friday, August 22 – 5th Annual Dancing With Our Stars • 6 p.m.
With a new date and location the Dancing With Our Stars event promises even more excitement than ever before!  This year’s event will be held at College of the Canyons Santa Clarita Performing Arts Center. Saturday, August 23 – Concerts in the Park: Hollywood U2 • 7 p.m.
Hollywood U2 are the World’s Greatest U2 Tribute Band. Saturday, August 30 – Concerts in the Park: Boogie Knights • 7 p.m.
The Boogie Knights were originally formed in October of 1992 as a Halloween gag in Los Angeles, California. Monday, September 8 – Special Olympics Santa Clarita and Tri-Valley Golf Tournament • 9 a.m.
This Tournament funds athletic training and competition for athletes aged eight years old and above in a variety of Olympic type sports, including aquatics, basketball, bocce, bowling, floor hockey, golf, gymnastics, soccer, softball, track, tennis and volleyball. Thursday, September 11- HandsOn SCV 9/11 Tribute • 5 p.m. – 7 p.m.
To commemorate 9/11, HandsOn will host a two-part event, with the first being on 9/11. The entire community is invited to attend this commemorative ceremony at Westfield Valencia Town Center and will include responder and military vehicles for the kids to climb on, food from local eateries for purchase and much more. For more information, visit www.HandsOnSCV.org.

Saturday, September 13-HandsOn SCV Day of Service
The second part of the HandsOn SCV is a Day of service, which will take place Saturday, September 13. The Day of Service will feature hands-on service projects during the day in support of our Veterans and Active Military. For more information, visit www.HandsOnSCV.org.

Saturday, September 13 – The 21st Evening Under the Stars • 6 p.m.
An “Evening Under the Stars” is the largest annual fundraising event for the Michael Hoefflin Foundation.  It is an evening of dining, auction and entertainment which accounts for nearly half of our operating budget, and makes possible our work helping kids with cancer and their families.  Located at Robinson Ranch Golf Course, 27734 Sand Canyon Road in Santa Clarita.  Event Contact Information: Michael Hoefflin Foundation for Children’s Cancer at 661-250-4100.

Thursday, September 18 – An Evening With Gary Allegretto and Ian Espinoza 7 p.m.

Saturday, September 20-Santa Clarita Heart Walk
The American Heart Association invites the community to the annual 5K at Westfield Valencia Town Center.  Registration/Expo begins 7:30 a.m., program at 8 a.m., with the walk beginning at 8:30 a.m.  5K Walk/Run, 1-Mile Survivor Route, Kids Fun Zone, Live Entertainment, Health Expo, Free Health Screenings and CPR Demonstration, Sponsor Booths, Giveaways. Sunday, September 21 – Bunco for Hope • 5 p.m.
‘Bunco for Hope’ is a tournament style multi-bunco game. Moms Club of Castaic and Eleven12 Events present Bunco For Hope Benefiting Circle of Hope, Inc.
