Disney’s High School Musical
8:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
The Disney Channel’s smash hit musical will explode in-to life on the stage at the Canyon Theatre Guild. It’s fun, it’s fast, and it’s filled with music! It’s the first day after winter break at East High and all of the kids are back in their cliques recounting their vacations and looking forward to the New Year.  This high-energy, family-friendly musical will be presented every Saturday evening at 8:00 p.m., with Sunday matinees at 1:00 p.m. There will also be Saturday matinees on February 7, 14, and 21st.  24242 Main Street.

A Street Car Named Desire

The Repertory East Playhouse is proud to open its 2009 Season with A Street Car Named Desire, written by Tennessee Williams and sponsored by Jill Jackson and Dessert Alert.  Tickets are $18 for adults and $16 for students and seniors.  The REP will host post show discussions immediately following each Sunday Matinee. Join the cast and crew for an intimate discussion about the process of creating live theatre.

The AMGEN Tour of California will bring the drama and excitement of a professional bicycle stage race to the California coast. The tradition continues as College of the Canyons offers a free community concert with virtuoso members of the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra performing an ion of chamber music. Come and support the local music community in the comforts of the Canyon Theatre Guild. The Headlining band “B4” featuring Brad Alden Mowry, Bob Berra, Billy Davis and Bob Yerby, will be performing live. There will be a full bar and all ages are welcome. (ID will be checked). “Grease” at the Pantages Theater

“Grease” is rockin’ across the country in a new production direct from Broadway. Bring friends and family, and take a trip to a simpler time of poodle skirts and drive-ins, as Danny and Sandy fall in love to the tune of your favorite songs. This trip includes transportation by bus and reserved mezzanine seating. The bus will depart City Hall at 12:00 p.m., with the show beginning at 2:00 pm.
