A Season of Diversity: Freedom Child – The Civil Rights Children’s 1963 “Bombingham” one-woman show recalling the life of Dr. Bernadette McAllister.  Bernadette was 13-years-old when she took part in the “Children’s Crusade.” Over 1,000 African-American children participated in this demonstration, singing “We Shall Overcome,” while they were taken to jail.
