In 2004, Dana Schutz and Irving Zaroff founded the Center for Cooperative Divorce in an effort to minimize the anger and hostility that often accompanies divorce.  Capitalizing on their skills as family therapists and Irv’s background as an attorney, businessman and finance executive, they offer couples an opportunity to face and overcome the challenges of divorce.  Mediation encourages agreement without the acrimony of a legal battle, at substantial cost savings, and leading to designer agreements that meet the unique needs of each couple.  Services can include drafting of a final, legal settlement agreement and the management of all court document preparation and filings.  Working as a team with each couple, solutions are more creative, focused and practical.  The Center for Cooperative Divorce is dedicated to a cooperative effort for the sake of the family and a post-divorce future.
