Child & Family Center – Taste of the Town – Serves Up Another Delicious Event
Every year, dozens of Santa Clarita Valley eateries, breweries and wineries come together for the party of the year, and this year was just what the community ordered! The 28th annual Taste of the Town, benefitting Child & Family Center, was held on Sunday, May 1 at Mann Biomedical Park. In addition to scrumptious plates, the event featured silent and live auctions, the Diamond Drop hosted by local jeweler Apo Yessayan of Classic Designs Jewelry and tons of wonderful prizes. Mark LeVang, recently off a world tour with Neil Diamond, assembled a stellar band that kept guests dancing and mingling all afternoon long.
Each year, Taste of the Town raises a significant portion of the non-profits fundraising, making valuable programs available to local residents. The Child & Family Center helps build a healthy Santa Clarita Valley by providing mental health, behavioral and education services to children, adults and families.
