Soroptimist International of Greater Santa Clarita Valley Welcomes Incoming President Sue Reynolds and Gives Thanks to Outgoing President Kris Hough

On a lovely Wednesday night in June, Soroptimist International of Greater Santa Clarita Valley gave praise to the hard working board of directors from 2010-2011 and welcomed the 2011-2012 board.  The night began with the introduction of special guests by Ed Masterson, then guests listened to Kris Hough highlight her year as president for the 2010-2011 term.
After a delicious dinner, Dora Zavala installed the new board and incoming president Sue Reynolds gave her president’s speech, “There Is That of Her That Needs No Spur!”  A devoted equestrian lover, Sue shared some beautiful words about 10 very special horses in her life and asked guests to, “think of their personalities in match with the wonderful women of Soroptimist, as we step up into the saddle of another year”.
The incoming board of directors include: Sue Reynolds, President; Vanessa Wilk, Vice President; Karen Schnurr, Treasurer; Julie Morel, Treasurer-Elect; Julie Stergeon, Corresponding Secretary; Rebecca Johnston, Recording Secretary; Sheryl Garaci, V.P. membership; Jo Ann Vindigni, Director; Pam Ingram, Director; Darlene Gandara, Parliamentarian and Past President Kris Hough.
