Get out your dancing shoes as the Dancing With Our Stars event is back! Come see the stars shine, as Santa Clarita’s very own will pair up with the professional dancers and dance the night away. Élite Magazine, The Magazine of Santa Clarita and Bellasport are pleased to present the Dancing With Our Stars event, which is set to take place on Saturday, April 24. This year’s event will prove to be even more popular than the last as 20 of Santa Clarita’s stars are pairing up to compete with each other for top prize and raise money for the local non-profit organizations they are representing. It will be an evening of entertainment and excitement as the dancing duos will be judged and guests will have an opportunity to participate and cast money votes using script. Who will take top prize? You decide. Pledge your money by proxy votes prior to the event to support your dancing star. All money collected by proxy votes by the dancer and on the night of the event will benefit the non-profit organization they are representing. Last year’s sold out event raised nearly $80,000 for our local non-profit organizations and this year it will be bigger and better than ever. The fun filled event is set to take place at the lovely Hyatt Regency Century Plaza located on the Avenue of the Stars. It will begin with a no host cocktail hour at 6 p.m. followed by a delectable dinner prepared by the popular Chef Mannee, with dancing beginning at 7 p.m. After the winner is announced, guests will have the opportunity to shimmy and shake the night away until the clock strikes midnight. Ticket prices are $120 each and tables will be allocated on a first come first served basis. Sponsors to date are SOS Entertainment, Mirage Hair & Nail Studio, KHTS Radio, Choppé Advertising Group, Star Dance Studio and R & R Awards. Get your creativity groove on and be a part of this spectacular occasion! Dancers will not be the only winners, design a centerpiece for our Dancing With Our Stars event and win! First prize is $300, with two runners up prizes of $100 each. All centerpieces will be displayed at the event and your company/personal name will be recognized on the centerpiece as the donor.
