One word. Awesome! The 4th Annual Dancing With Our Stars was a huge success, raising an astounding $260,000 for our non-profit organizations…bringing us to a total of $680,000 over the past four years! Simply amazing!
Celebrities and professional dancers paired up on Saturday, September 22, and danced the night away in front of a packed house at the Hyatt in Valencia. Congratulations to the night’s first place winners, Marsha McLean and Jose Torres who danced for Habitat for Heroes. Second place went to Bob Larlee and Maritza Rosales who danced for the American Heart Association. Laura Kirchoff and Errol Leon, who danced for Circle of Hope, took home third place. Judges choice awards went to Dee Dee Jacobson (Best Female Dancer) who danced for College of the Canyons/K-12 and Dr. Craig Helm (Best Male Dancer) who danced for Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital. The night opened with an amazing performance by The Company Men, followed by a dance number from the professionals at D’Wilfri DanceArt Studio. Our judges for the evening, Jacquie Petersen, Dr. Sam Kojoglanian and Bella Shaw, certainly kept the audience entertained along with MC Ed Masterson. |
