Experience the Energy of SENSES Block Party

Old Town Newhall has rightfully earned its title as Santa Clarita’s Premier Arts and Entertainment District. Beyond its thriving arts scene, it has also become a go-to destination for dining, shopping and one of the City’s most anticipated event series of the year, SENSES Block Party. Each month, Main Street undergoes an impressive transformation, allowing attendees to become fully immersed in a new theme each month that stimulates all your senses. This block party features live music, dancing, food trucks, themed activities and an on-street bar hosted by one of your favorite local restaurants. Over the years, Main Street has gone extraterrestrial with an Outer Space Block Party, taken us back in time to That 70s SENSES and even a Tropical Summer escape, complete with sand, beach balls and palm trees. Whether you’re looking for a fun night out or a new tradition to enjoy with friends and family, SENSES is the place to be on the third Thursday of each month from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m., and as always, each year’s lineup outdoes itself with fresh, new and exciting themes.
After 2025’s first SENSES, which kicked off the year with a basketball-themed, Alley-Oop Block Party that got the community excited for March Madness, complete with interactive basketball games, head-to-head dunk contests and free throw games, residents are naturally eager for more. On April 17, pinball and Skee-Ball enthusiasts have something to look forward to with the Arcade SENSES. Step into a world of flashing lights and classic games at the Arcade Block Party, where you’ll be able to relive the nostalgia, with no quarters required. Have you ever dreamed of being in a spy thriller? Enter Main Street on May 15, and you’ll find that espionage has taken over with a Spy Games Block Party. This secret agent-themed SENSES will bring a night full of action-packed challenges, thrilling missions and mysterious surprises. Whether you’re out with friends, a longtime partner or someone new, come to Old Town Newhall on June 19, where Main Street will become the perfect Date Night. This romantic-themed evening will feature miniature golf, interactive games and plenty of chances to make unforgettable memories, and maybe even fall in love.
Every SENSES Block Party is different and comes complete with themed décor, engaging activities and live music, setting the perfect atmosphere that triggers all of the senses. After enjoying all of the festivities, you can grab a bite to eat from one of the on-site food trucks and sip on a craft beverage from the on-street bar. While this event is designed to be a fun night out for adults, it is also a great experience for families.
