Find Your Garden Inspiration At the Memorial Garden Tour on May 1st
Looking for a little inspiration and guidance to take your garden to the next level? Don’t miss your chance to tour the most beautifully kept and designed home gardens in the Santa Clarita Valley! The tenth annual Memorial Garden Tour will be held on Sunday, May 1 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Showcasing a variety of gardens throughout the Santa Clarita Valley, this self-guided tour benefits a cause as beautiful as the gardens themselves.
“My inspiration to organize this garden tour is my son, PFC Cole William Larsen, who was killed on November 13, 2004 while serving his country in Iraq,” said Santa Clarita mother Christi Larsen. “This tour is to honor the memory of my son, along with all of our brave fallen and wounded military who have sacrificed life and limb for our country.”
Donations are appreciated and will benefit the Cole William Larsen Foundation, which supports families of fallen and wounded military. Garden tour programs will be available at Green Thumb Nursery, Green Landscape Nursery and other participating businesses in the Santa Clarita Valley.
For additional information, please visit www.memorialgardentour.com, or contact Christi Larsen at larsengardentour@gmail.com.
