Guests and Music Play at Celebrity Waiter Dinner
Community members donned their best costumes – from Pink Floyd to Jimmy Buffet – and danced the night away at the 2017 Celebrity Waiter Dinner, benefitting the Santa Clarita Valley Senior Center, on February 18. This year’s theme, Let the Music Play, inspired all manner of dress, including a table full of Sias, a nod to rapper Pitbull, and even a Prince impersonator. Guests enjoyed the theme and played a game of musical chairs.
Funds raised support the SCV Senior Center’s many valuable programs, and this year’s event also raised funds for the center’s capital campaign to build a new facility for local seniors.
