The Vine 2 Wine Classic attracted a vibrant crowd on Saturday, August 15 as residents poured in to support Circle of Hope, Inc., for its 14th Annual Vine 2 Wine Classic fundraiser. Although the venue changed this year to the City of Santa Clarita Activities Center, guests enjoyed the multiple rooms of vendors; event coordinators expect to be back at California Institute of the Arts next year.
With a collection of various wines, craft beer and food, everyone in attendance enjoyed one-of-a-kind library wines from the private cellars of wine collectors. In addition to the wine, beer and food, guests also enjoyed a silent auction and raffle, where attendees were able to bid on rare, expensive, and often unique wines. There were several upscale wines poured by dozens of wineries and by donors of rare, older, and library wines from their own cellars! The event raised about $30,000, and all of the proceeds raised will benefit local non-profit, Circle of Hope, Inc., which serves the needs of women and men in our community who have been diagnosed with cancer.
