Hair Battle Spectacular Extreme Stylists Battle It Out

It’s Project Runway meets Shear Genius.  Mix fantasy, couture and runway hair design and you’ve got the newest competition based reality series.  Hair Battle Spectacular, featured this summer on Oxygen, will pit 10 of America’s hottest stylists against each other to see who can deliver the biggest and best in fantasy hair design. 

Imagine wild, crazy and outrageous designs complete with color, pizzazz and creativity.  Part sculpture and part pop art, stylists will battle it out, challenging each other to create the most outrageous hair designs that resembles everything from multi-layer wedding cakes to toys with moveable pieces.
But in the end, only one hairdo will be left standing.
From the producers of Beauty and the Geek and The Biggest Loser, Hair Battle Spectacular will bring you a hair competition like you’ve never seen before.  Ten of the most talented fantasy hair artists will come together in one location, where they will live, create and compete against one another in a series of weekly challenges.  The stylists will present their hair creations in classic Hair Battle mode; live and out loud with a fully produced, dramatic and stylized performance.  After each challenge, judges will critique the designers on creativity, execution and overall presentation.  Judges include award-winning fantasy hair designer Derek J, celebrity stylist Lindsay Albanese along with one rotating guest judge.  In each episode, the weakest designer is sent packing and the rest will move on to tougher challenges.  
In addition to the spectacular blow-by-blow drama on the hair battle runway, expect the day-to-day drama that will occur between the competitive stylists living together.  Watch as they battle each week to stay in the competition and win the ultimate prize of $100,000.   
The beautiful and talented Brooke Burns will host the extreme competition, Hair Battle Spectacular. Brooke began modeling at the age of 15 and began her television career on the popular series Baywatch and Baywatch Hawaii.  
 “Oxygen plus 10 fantasy hair designers plus me equals live out loud fun and artistic drama!” states Brooke.  “Prepare for the hair!”
