The theme “Fashion…And All That Jazz” took over the Sheraton Universal Hotel with style and class for the Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital Guild’s 24th Annual Fashion Show, Luncheon and Boutique. Fashions by Margo and J. David Custom Clothiers of Valencia walked the runway to the upbeat tempo of jazzy music followed by the Guild’s 2008 Silver Rose Debutantes. There was also a fashion-themed boutique with over 30 vendors for the crowd to enjoy. Celebrity mistress of ceremonies Lora McLaughlin, a correspondent for CBS Newspath, hosted the festivities with help from Ed Masterson, a representative from Assemblyman Cameron Smyth’s office. “Mix jazzy music with jazzy fashion and you have the makings of an upbeat, exciting afternoon,” said Guild fashion event co-chairperson Shelley Hann, who shares the title with Tamra Levine. The event was a true success with fashion, upbeat music and…all that jazz.
