The California Junior Chamber of Commerce, or JCI California, proudly announces Neil Fitzgerald as the new President.
“In this new role, I oversee our fantastic local presidents and chapters, helping them to create positive change in our communities,” Neil said.  “As the presidents before me, I will work diligently to equip young people with leadership and professional skills in a safe and fun environment, so they can start their own businesses or can go on to serve their communities.”
Neil works for Princess Cruises and has extensive experience working in both the political and non-profit communities.

Lisa Odom – Partner

M. Lisa Odom is announced as a partner in the law firm of Poole & Shaffery, LLP.  She represents numerous individuals, families, and small and mid-sized businesses with respect to estate planning, trust administration and probate matters, contracts and business law matters and more.
Lisa has represented multimillion dollar projects at high-profile law firms in Los Angeles including Kirkland & Ellis and Sidley Austin LLP.  Today, Lisa uses her talent and sharp legal acumen to protect businesses and families, help them achieve success and secure peace of mind.
Lisa previously worked as a co-founder and partner of McDowell Odom LLP.

Claudia McDowell – Partner

Claudia McDowell is announced as a partner in the law firm of Poole & Shaffery, LLP.  Claudia practices corporate, securities and commercial law and is highly skilled in mergers, acquisitions and transactional negotiations.  She represents micro-cap and small-cap publicly traded companies, as well as small, medium and large privately owned corporations around the world.
For more than 26 years, prior to joining Poole & Shaffery, Claudia owned her own private practice and ultimately partnered with her daughter, Lisa Odom, where she actively represented companies in all aspects of their existence.

Joni Boole
Director of Activities Tournament Players Club Valencia
Tournament Players Club Valencia is proud to announce Joni Boole as the Director of Activities, a new position created to offer more programs to both members and the community at large.
“Here at TPC Valencia, we offer wonderful programs and amenities to our members, but we also want to open our doors even wider, to provide activities for the entire community,” Joni said.  “In this new position, my goal is to create a buzz around town that there’s something fun to do every night of the week at TPC Valencia.  I want our beautiful club to be everyone’s first stop to a great evening or a family-filled afternoon.”

Dr. Lakhbinder Dhanda  – Chief of Staff
Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital
Lakhbinder  Dhanda, MD, a well-respected physician at Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital, has been elected Chief of Staff by the hospital’s medical staff.  Prior to his appointment, Dr. Dhanda served as Deputy Chief of Staff of the Medical Executive Committee.
Dr. Dhanda, who has been with Henry Mayo since 1997, is President and Chief Executive Officer of Valencia Internal Medical Group Inc. in Valencia.  In his role as Chief of Staff, Dr. Dhanda will lead Henry Mayo’s medical staff of about 500 physicians and take a seat on the Board of Directors.
“My goal is to focus on patient care, increasing patient bed availability and fostering the relationship between doctors and administration,” he said.

Sue Arellano – Business Assistance Manager
SCVEDC
Sue Arellano has been selected as the new Business Assistance Manager for the Santa Clarita Valley Economic Development Corporation, leading their business retention and assistance efforts with companies in the Santa Clarita Valley.
A Santa Clarita resident for more than 30 years, Sue’s background includes 20 years of leadership as a manager partner of Centric, a marketing agency based in Newhall.
“Sue’s extensive experience working with local businesses, combined with her deep roots in our community, make her an ideal fit to support the goals of the EDC,” said Holly Schroeder, SCVEDC President and CEO.
