In addition to her role in sales, Alesia can be seen around the community as an emcee for many popular charity events, and singer/songwriter for Dole|Humphries, as well as a volunteer for numerous community causes. Single Mothers Outreach is proud to welcome Yorleni Sapp as the new Executive Director. Yorleni Sapp is passionate about work with meaning. She brings to the job a passion for serving individuals, believing all people have the right to live with dignity.
Yorleni grew up in a developing country (Costa Rica), which shaped her personal values and beliefs. Her life experiences, along with living in different countries, created a strong desire within her to be part of something bigger than herself. Growing up in a home with both parents deeply involved in non-profit work, she understands firsthand the impact and the rewarding experience of giving back, and affecting change.
Sharon Langenbeck

Zonta International
Sharon Langenbeck, Ph.D., a past president and active member of Zonta Club of the Santa Clarita Valley, has been elected vice president of Zonta International and Zonta International Foundation for the 2016-18 biennium.
Langenbeck was elected at the recent ZI convention in Nice, France, which drew more than 2,000 Zontians from 60 countries around the world.
Langenbeck joined the local Zonta Club in 1979 and served as a Zonta International and Zonta International Foundation board director from 2014-2016. She also served as international Amelia Earhart Fellowship Committee chair from 1992-2000 and from 2010-2014 and was an international Amelia Earhart Fellowship Committee member from 1988 to 1992.
Kevin MacDonald

SCV Senior Center
The Santa Clarita Valley Senior Center is pleased to announce Kevin MacDonald as its new Executive Director.
“The Santa Clarita Valley Senior Center is at an exciting place as we approach our 40th anniversary,” said Board President Peggy Rasmussen.
Mr. MacDonald has a unique combination of nonprofit and business experience. Kevin spent over two decades as Executive Director with The Arc Los Angeles and Orange Counties, a CARF accredited, non‐ profit organization dedicated to the needs of children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
“I believe my 23 years of leading The Arc is excellent preparation to take on this new challenge of serving the senior community and building on the successes of the SCV Senior Center,” he said.
