Sand Canyon Lake House
Some say, “home is not a place–it’s a feeling” and this Bill Cloyd Sr. original is sure to incite much feeling. Siting on 2.5 acres this Sand Canyon home is a picturesque estate to raise a family. With 5 bedrooms, 6.5 bathrooms any family will feel right at home with enough space for everyone. The exterior of the house has a European style complete with a barn and corral. The front consists of lush green fields accented with roses and a brick driveway.
Entering into the home you will see the formal living room. The hind wall of this space is large sliding windows that lead to the backyard. This living space contains a beautiful brick fireplace. A cozy place for holiday gatherings or curling up for a good read. To the left extends a long hallway to the rest of the bedrooms. To the right is an elegant formal dining room with a grand chandelier. Next to that is the kitchen with dual ovens, a compactor and brick enclosed stove. The kitchen opens to the breakfast nook with large bay windows.
Take a few steps down into the great room with an open floor plan this room can be used for anything: a living space, office, pool/game room. The tremendous area allows good lighting and contains vaulted ceilings, a brock fire place and French doors that lead to the driveway or backyard. This room also has a full bar with cabinetries for glassware and a wine fridge. Across from this is a concreted wall made perfect to fit several wine bottles.
This magnificent home is fitted with three master suites. The Main Master suite has his (3/4) with bidet and her (full) bathrooms and two walk-in closets. The grand space sets a warm tone with the natural lighting coming in from the rear windows and the door leading to the backyard. One thing that sets this space apart from the others is the many book shelves and storages spaces that could be a home office.
The second master suite has enough room for a living space and a bedroom. The room has two walk in closets and fitted with smoky-grey porcelain flooring made to look like hard wood. The large windows let in the afternoon sun and the French doors leading outside to a private gigantic patio allows for a breeze in the evening time. The bathroom is a ¾ bath with a bidet. The white tile is highlighted with gold fixtures. Not pictured
The third master suite is located at the far end of the house. It is separate from the rest of the rooms and is located right off the great room. The room is accented with ebony floors and gold fixtures. The shutters allow for warm lighting to tiptoe in during the day. The bedroom has its own private ¾ bathroom equipped with a sauna and a bidet. With its private entrance and elegant-look it is ideal for an in-law’s quarters or guest space.
Take a stroll in the backyard and be transported to the English countryside equipped with rose gardens, rows of foliage and a lake with a dock. The back yard also contains a large swimming pool with a waterfall and a Jacuzzi. The backyard is made for entertaining. The brick pathway extends from the front entrance to the back of the house. This area with a full outdoor kitchen and bar makes it the best place for any occasion. Behind the bar is the 3-car garage with built in cabinets and attic space.
