The Belgians Came to Town…Old Town!
by Stephanie Struyck Elgin • photos by Alex Hafizi It was another well attended event at this year’s The Belgians Are Coming Beer Festival, which took place on Sunday, September 1 in Old Town Newhall. Main Street transformed into a village square that resembled your typical Belgian street festival, and guests had the opportunity to indulge in over 1,000 craft beers from over 40 breweries and several wineries. Food trucks served up some delicious dining options for guests in attendance. A portion of the proceeds benefited the Repertory East Playhouse, a non-profit theatre in Old Town Newhall. |
