The New Cancer Wellness Center Gives More Than Just Hope
Circle of Hope’s, Hope’s Haven Cancer Wellness Center is a nonprofit organization that aims to provide support for cancer patients. Suffering from cancer can be a hard and lonely experience from trying to find manners to deal with the new changes and confusion to finding comforting coping mechanisms. Hope’s Haven provides a place where patients with cancer can seek a loving community filled with similar people struggling with the same issues and caring workers who care about the wellbeing of the patients.
Hope’s Haven arose after the founders were providing social support services at Circle of Hope for over fourteen years, but since the resources were so religiously sought out, the founders created the nonprofit they have today. As a newly founded organization, the founders are excited to watch their patient pool grow and ask all individuals to help spread the word about how Hope’s Haven can help their loved ones move forward.
Hope’s Haven is always seeking individuals with interesting talents and skills who want to lend a helping hand to lead a class for cancer patients and survivors. The classes offered are completely free and consist of a variety of activities including yoga, mindfulness and even drumming. There really are classes for everyone’s interest along with therapeutic classes such as massages. People of all ages and stages of cancer are welcome to join and take advantage of the resources Hope’s Haven offers. The general public is even welcome to join and learn through the lectures and classes offered through the organization. Hope’s Haven even helps to find financial support for those who are uninsured or underinsured, and are suffering from colon, reproductive and melanoma cancer. If you or someone you know may be living with cancer and do not have the financial means for treatment, contact Hope’s Haven to seek the opportunities they have to offer.
Circle of Hope believes it is important to create a sense of community where all are welcome and feel immense inclusion. As the main objective this organization abides to, it shows how genuinely caring those of Hope’s Haven truly are in creating a nondiscriminatory and growing community centered on compassion. As a nonprofit, fully donation based organization, Hope’s Haven is always seeking donations to help keep them running as efficiently as possible. If you are supportive of this wonderful local organization of raising funds for breast cancer patients, please attend the Afternoon Tea fundraiser at the Hyatt Hotel in Valencia on October 6 starting at 10:00 a.m. At the event, visitors can silently bid on exquisite auction selections while admiring game board themed tables. It will be an event to cherish while all the proceeds will go towards breast cancer patients in celebration of breast cancer awareness month. If you cannot make it this time, please catch them at the next fundraiser and be a part of the community that is helping to make a difference in the lives of those who need it the most.
